that way its guarenteed to be vertical

2018-10-04 07:23:41 UTC

a well is not nessarily vertical

2018-10-04 07:23:48 UTC

a pole isent either

2018-10-04 07:24:13 UTC

altho you can use either one if they align with the plumb bob great

2018-10-04 07:24:26 UTC

just remember to factor in that error into the calculations

2018-10-04 07:24:47 UTC

all scientific calculations should also include the error

2018-10-04 07:24:49 UTC

O

if you dont include an error calculation or step by step method and tools then i cant trust your paper

2018-10-04 13:55:09 UTC

@Σ5 lol do you not look at what I post?

2018-10-04 13:55:37 UTC

Works on both

2018-10-04 13:55:42 UTC

With 4!

2018-10-04 13:56:14 UTC

It doesn't matter how many sticks you have. It doesn't make the earth a ball

2018-10-04 13:57:12 UTC

Why are the left rays divergent and the right ones parallel

2018-10-04 13:57:27 UTC

What do we find if the lines are parallel to the flat earth

2018-10-04 13:57:42 UTC

Perhaps if the sun is close but not small

2018-10-04 13:58:19 UTC

Or not a ball

2018-10-04 14:48:17 UTC

A) the divergent rays are assuming a local sun verus the parallel rays from a distant sun B) if you try and calculate the circumstance of a sphere using two points and then do it again using different points you get a different answer on a flat plane verus a sphere

2018-10-04 14:49:47 UTC

And if you do it in real life you get the same answer no matter where you do it

2018-10-04 16:41:38 UTC

@Citizen Z You need at least three non-collinear. The four that sigma was referring to are in a square or quadrilateral, not all on the same line.

2018-10-04 16:51:29 UTC

Ok my mind has exploded

2018-10-04 16:53:10 UTC

So is the ISS real or no

2018-10-04 16:53:13 UTC

I'm confused

2018-10-04 16:53:43 UTC

It is real

2018-10-04 16:53:44 UTC

Seems real to me

2018-10-04 16:54:06 UTC

How can you be sure

2018-10-04 16:54:29 UTC

It could be a holographic projection

2018-10-04 16:54:30 UTC

When I have directly seen it from the ground twice, and thousands and thousands have seen it through a telescope as a space station and not a plane or something, I’m pretty sure it’s real.

2018-10-04 16:54:55 UTC

Also you can’t bounce radar off of holographs, but you can on the ISS.

2018-10-04 16:55:06 UTC

Good point

2018-10-04 16:55:18 UTC

Never thought of radar for proof

2018-10-04 16:56:33 UTC

Hmm good point

2018-10-04 16:56:49 UTC

Let's say the Earth is flat

2018-10-04 16:56:55 UTC

How does ISS orbit?

2018-10-04 16:56:55 UTC

18th u assumme I have looked never seen it astronuts told me it doesnt exsist

2018-10-04 16:57:20 UTC

What astronauts

2018-10-04 16:57:28 UTC

I'm pretty sure they work there

2018-10-04 16:57:59 UTC

Btw the ISS would move in a circle abovd flat earth

2018-10-04 16:59:31 UTC

How

2018-10-04 16:59:35 UTC

What holds it there
