-- 'Routers' are wifi though. ..If you can connect an "ethernet cord" to your box, it is a "Modem" or a → "Modem/Router" COMBO ✔
..unless some "Definitions" have changed in recent years, dunno
---i have a Combo box, but i primarily only use Ethernet (aka Hard-wired in), and..i disable "wifi" in the modem/router settings, and other places too. And, i only re-enable "wifi" if i absolutely need it, like if my desktop tower is busy say maybe Rendering-out a Video i made or suttin. then i just disable wifi after im done etc.
---wifi is hella slow af compared to hardwired Ethernet,
..and...and wifi is harmful, in my opinion
---me, im extrra senstive to things, so ..i can surely feel a difference with wifi on/off etc
