if we view it in person it's not going to be pixilated.

is that an image of the ocean or the moutains behind it?

2019-03-24 20:22:01 UTC

or is that again just another example of refraction

2019-03-24 20:22:48 UTC

how many people here believe in flat earth?

2019-03-24 20:22:49 UTC

When you can show me a scientifically proven study that shows mountains popping up 3 miles into the air and the earth just appears flat. I will take what you are saying seriously.

2019-03-24 20:22:59 UTC

*appears flat*

2019-03-24 20:23:08 UTC

the earth does appear flat.

2019-03-24 20:23:31 UTC

But magic unproven refraction disproves it?

2019-03-24 20:23:58 UTC

you can see refraction in person.

2019-03-24 20:24:04 UTC

--- PERSPECTIVE ..

why things disappear bottom-up from horizon ...

2019-03-24 20:24:06 UTC

No you cant

2019-03-24 20:24:10 UTC

really?

2019-03-24 20:24:17 UTC

Yes really.

2019-03-24 20:24:18 UTC

have you went to the exact locations at the same weather and proved that?

2019-03-24 20:24:29 UTC

Its not refraction.

2019-03-24 20:24:39 UTC

what is it then

2019-03-24 20:24:40 UTC

Its the actual objects

2019-03-24 20:24:45 UTC

the thing im confused about is if the earth is flat wouldnt all the water leak off the edge?

2019-03-24 20:24:55 UTC

why are they below the horizon?

2019-03-24 20:25:05 UTC

@CanWab who told you there is an edge?

2019-03-24 20:25:15 UTC

@nef optical slant

2019-03-24 20:25:25 UTC

so ur saying that earth is infinite?

2019-03-24 20:25:31 UTC

The way light works

2019-03-24 20:25:56 UTC

what

2019-03-24 20:25:57 UTC

@CanWab who told you the earth had an edge or it is infinite?

2019-03-24 20:26:16 UTC

@nef the angular resolution of the eye is .02 degrees

2019-03-24 20:26:20 UTC

ihave an ez debunk of flat earth using my genius intellect

1) you cannot trust the reliability of your senses. you could be in a matrix and the world you think you see could be merely a figment of your imagination. for instance, we could live in a computer simulation
2) because our senses may be unreliable, you cannot depend on observations as evidence that the Earth is flat. the Earth may not even exist, and may simply be an illusion
3) therefore, the assertion that the earth is flat can be rejected on the basis of insufficient evidence

ez pz gg
agnostic earther 1 flat earthers 0

2019-03-24 20:26:23 UTC

nobody lol

2019-03-24 20:26:26 UTC

now they showed up smh
http://prntscr.com/n2celt

2019-03-24 20:26:32 UTC

dosent optical slant rely only on what the observers perspective is

2019-03-24 20:26:48 UTC

wait who here believes that earth is flat?

2019-03-24 20:26:51 UTC

@EliteGamer how bout direct measurements

2019-03-24 20:27:24 UTC

why the fk am i not seeing printscreen pics show up wtfrig
taking 10 mins now -- smh... must be discord glitching up ugh..

2019-03-24 20:27:27 UTC

you cannot trust direct measurements since they rely on your senses

2019-03-24 20:28:46 UTC
2019-03-24 20:29:10 UTC

Direct measurements dont rely on senses. Stop trolling @EliteGamer

2019-03-24 20:29:32 UTC

ye sthey do, all observations rely on our senses. i hereby reject your evidence on the basis of unreliability

2019-03-24 20:29:41 UTC

@Citizen Z because he presented an opinion or argument does not mean he's trolling btw

2019-03-24 20:29:47 UTC

if hes wrong prove him wrong.

2019-03-24 20:30:17 UTC

also if the earth is flat. how come we can only view certain stars at certain latitudes?
