is it sad being 14 and playing roblox
idk
im more interested int he temp of the cube satellite when the sun hits hit
hits it
@jeremy depends on how much thermal mass is there, and if it has radiators and whatnot
so like can i get a answer
when the sun hits it, it gets up to about 60 deg C or so
well has anyone sent up a cube sat to see what the temperature was
b/c only part of it is in teh sun
Yep our have temperature sensors on them at various places
if a human in the 6ft and theres arms are 3ft each about doesnt that make us symmetrical
so it goes from -450 fahrenhiet to +40 farenheit
wow
thats hot
thats hot
that is a massive temperature swing
(will smith memes insert)
whats this thing made of now ?
that's the environment
gotta be some amazing material to withstand that temperature swing
we get direct and indirect sunlight ofcourse the temperature changes
the object doesn't change temp that much
in different places
so ur saying sometimes its in -450 degree environment but the object doesnt get cold and when its plus 40 it doesnt get hot
when you cook a turkey does it get up to 350 F on the inside?
lmao
ok so what temp does the cube sat get
about 60 degC at the worst
and -10 deg C at the worst
it's always close to earth though so that is a source of warmth
so when the cube sat is it -260 c the cubesat only gets -10 ?
scratch that
the cubesat is in a -260c degree environment but only gets -10c ?
it's never in that environment
in low earth orbit it's not that cold
in deep space it woudl be taht cold, and they require heaters to stay warm enough
like the pluto new horizons craft
we have been talking about the environment of the cubesat this whole time
i thought you were talking about space
