And it's impossible

2019-04-23 01:28:32 UTC

I can disprove any omnipotent being you believe in with one dare

2019-04-23 01:28:54 UTC

Ask that omnipotent being to create an object so heavy that he himself cannot lift it

2019-04-23 01:28:57 UTC

Well, what if that being possed all the power in the universe, then as long as "anything" is limited to the bounds of everything possible, then he could be all powerful.

2019-04-23 01:29:12 UTC

No that's not all powerful

2019-04-23 01:29:21 UTC

Very very powerful beyond our understanding isn't omnipotent

2019-04-23 01:29:39 UTC

True

2019-04-23 01:29:57 UTC

Omnipotence is very specifically the power to do all things

2019-04-23 01:30:02 UTC

But I'm trying to give you a better definition of God

2019-04-23 01:30:05 UTC

I like that one the rock too heavy for god to lift

2019-04-23 01:30:34 UTC

Your definition of God is like that of many others, by elimination

2019-04-23 01:30:50 UTC

God cannot be omnipotent, so just make him very very powerful

2019-04-23 01:31:22 UTC

God also can't be omnibenevolent because there's evil (not good wtf me) on the earth so... Insert whatever reason here

2019-04-23 01:31:32 UTC

Im not trying to do that, I'm just saying if religious people wanted their definition to be correct, this is the closest thing they could get.

2019-04-23 01:31:52 UTC

Aight I slightly misunderstood you

2019-04-23 01:31:53 UTC

Mb fucking fuck

2019-04-23 01:32:51 UTC

I wonder if the bot picks up edits

2019-04-23 01:33:03 UTC

Hahahahahahaha nice

2019-04-23 01:33:12 UTC

I would think for us to be created it might involve someone that’s not supernatural

2019-04-23 01:33:26 UTC

Watchmaker argument?

2019-04-23 01:33:43 UTC

To me, if there was one, it wouldn't be biological as that would inhibit its power, it would never die and would not be able to die as that would inhibit it, it would also know next to everything and would be infinitly gainign more knowlage without even trying. It would have the power to do everyting I can think of and maybe even more. (I have no idea if the laws of the universe can be changed, but it would)

2019-04-23 01:33:52 UTC

Why does our creator have to be this magical being what if it’s a scientist in a lab looking at a million earths in a Petri dish

2019-04-23 01:34:07 UTC

Earth round

2019-04-23 01:34:14 UTC

🌍

2019-04-23 01:34:14 UTC

So you're saying it'd be omniscient

2019-04-23 01:34:20 UTC

Even emojis know it

2019-04-23 01:34:27 UTC

Infinitely gaining more knowledge = omniscience

2019-04-23 01:34:32 UTC

Basically it would be in an endless suffering and torment knowing that it will never know rest or happiniess as nothing could ever relate to it. The only thing it would have failed at is gainging its power.

2019-04-23 01:34:53 UTC

@jeremy because universe

2019-04-23 01:34:56 UTC

If that even exists, then I hope not (Talking ab Omniscience and its presence in a god)

2019-04-23 01:35:09 UTC

?

2019-04-23 01:35:13 UTC

I lost you

2019-04-23 01:36:12 UTC

The scientist in a lab lookin at a million Petri dish earths that sounds more likely than the guy that can or can’t make a rock so heavy he can’t lift it

2019-04-23 01:36:13 UTC

Well if its omniscient it'd know happiness so... No?

2019-04-23 01:36:30 UTC

Yes but that scientist guy isn't omnipotent

2019-04-23 01:36:43 UTC

So

2019-04-23 01:36:47 UTC

And yeah, that's true that we can't disprove a non omnipotent and non omnibenevolent god

2019-04-23 01:37:06 UTC

Why does the creator have to be omnipotent

2019-04-23 01:37:41 UTC

Idk

2019-04-23 01:37:42 UTC

What’s more likely though the scientist in the lab or the guy who can or can’t make a rock that he can or can’t lift

2019-04-23 01:37:44 UTC

You tell me
