It’s a publicity stunt. They needed to test the Falcon Heavy, and they needed a mock-up payload. They used a Tesla Roadster because it would boost Tesla stocks and sales, eventually getting more money for SpaceX (since Elon Musk runs it all).

They’re too small. Can you see a small car from three hundred miles away? Neither can the camera on the ISS or any satellites.

And satellites are the size of cars, the biggest ones are the size of buses.

Look up iss from ground. People have captured it through a telescope, and it’s not a drone, there’s no propellors or wings or anything and it’s not aerodynamic at all.
