The watchmaker argument? Oof
Good argument
I believe in God for a completely different reason
Can we have an argument without kicking people lol
I feel like I’m the only one who thinks about the matter this way who’s in the channel, lol
Haven’t I told you before?
Nvm, I’ll say it anyways
I know you have a different reason but don't really know your stance
I believe in God as what defines the universe. I don’t see anything around me as evidence for God except that physical laws exist. Why do they exist? I call that God. Nothing else convinces me. Nothing is truly evidence. It’s just my take. God is an impersonal Force that allows physical laws to exist. At the very least that’s how it works in my mind.

@Ætos wouldn't that make the bible junk?
Maybe
I see
Can’t exactly prove the Bible
Not going to pretend to be able to either
So your definition of god is different than the actual definition of god
So what do you reckon happens when you die?
No idea
Oh shit
More likely than not, I’ll just cease to exist
Not super difficult to imagine
Thats a reasonable position, ætos
It’s a different concept to assert that God is personal than to assert that God exists.
So effectively you have an agnosticish attitude, who attributes forces we don't understand to an impersonal and uncaring force called God?
I don't call the laws god I have the position of agnostic but am an atheist cause I don't believe in God
Not exactly. The gaps argument of “what I cannot explain must be caused by God” isn’t particularly of use.
🤔 pantheist, ætos?
I forgot
I would assert in the place of the gaps argument that what I **can** understand exists because of God.
Panentheist specifically
Ahh
Which upon a google search is apparently different
😕
Lel
I can remember you found a term for your position but can't remember the term
Panentheist Process theologist
I have a name for it
*wrong*
