yeah @^Kevin^ , but there was a LOT of misinformation being spread around. it definitely wasn't a very good atmosphere.
also, i think a majority of the Brexit voters voted Leave was because they thought that it would lead to increased funding to their social institutions like the NHS
on the contrary, it has only opened a new can of worms, since a good 90% of nurses working for the NHS are non-british europeans
but then 50.x % of the population did.

also, there were concerns of an extreme disinformation campaign being spread tbh
