Right on!
I'm in the Ashtabula area. But I work in cleveland
Northeast Ohio for y'all that don't know what an Ashtabula is
Scrotum county here bois
Who is eligible to take on a QRF role? If you aren't prepared don't volunteer.
Too be honest I am no where near ready, looking to get training to become ready
I mean... How do you mean take on a role? I keep everything I would bugout with in my car. Several go-bags for easy access and I could probably arm another 2-3 people just out of my car.
But as far as a QRF I think we are all a little too spread out.
No one is ever truly “ready” the goal is to be as prepared as possible at any given moment.
Yeah that makes sense. How can I make it safe to keep a firearm in my car? I don't want it to get stolen
@Young Spaghetti depends on the vehicle really. I’m my truck, I have AR mounts in the roof and I’m able to run a cable lock through the trigger guard and through part of my roof to lock it down, or under the back seat and run the lock around the seat frame, also have a magnetic mount on the side of the console there and on the left of my steering wheel in my Subaru for my pistol. Pistol goes inside with me every night no matter what, as does my wife’s, my AR is half and half. But, I live in a HOA and have nosy ass neighbors, which sort of pays off on that aspect because if you try something shady shit, someone is gonna see you
Makes sense, I'm worried cause I work in a shitty ass neighborhood with bad crime. I work night shift in a hospital where we do have security patrolling parking lots but I do worry
@Young Spaghetti remind me tomorrow and I’ll show you my setup.
Will do chief, Thanks for helping me
Man, it’s no problem at all. That’s what we’re all here for.
I was hoping to find people to give me guidance. and get some tendies
Good luck getting mine. I keep at least 3 rifles, at least 1000 rounds, 2 full size pistols, and a few other things that may come in handy.
@American_AF. Really if you got the firepower and protection. And are able to travel you would qualify. There is a situation in Illinois currently and you could volunteer if you're able and willing.
@Young Spaghetti if you scroll to the bottom lists of the group there are links for info and guides on how to be prepared. Personally I'm writing up 25 tips on readiness that's good for any survival/fight/flight scenarios. I'm hoping to have a refined draft by tomorrow morning.
I'm new to discord, not fan that its not a secure platform. But its definitely a better option than facebook. Me and my boys use signal as our messaging platform. Anyone else in northwest ohio? I'm in fulton county.
Keybase is another good one
Never heard of key base, I'll check it out. Only problem I have with signal is most of my family and friends refuse to use it.
Well just watch what you say, everyone should be doing that anyway. Face to face is the only 100% way of knowing your not getting flagged.
South of Canton checking in.
How are we lads?
Cincinnati Ohio checking in
Anyone nearby?
Totally not an ATF agent
Alright FBI
@fsfxg0re I'm a hour within your AO
@CaveDaddyBBQ hell yeah, I'm in the process of moving sometime this year but I won't be going far. Just getting out of town.
Well hopefully its south east towards New Philadelphia. Regardless we should keep in contact.
<@&704855056549150721> should check out the posts in Comms - FAQ channel
@CaveDaddyBBQ I'm definitely in that area not phila but yeah, thank you for the FAQ I'll be trying to do some work on my bags
Even though dewine is a complete $h!t bag. I'm glad I'm not running into anyone trying to enforce his "orders"
True shit I like walking and hiking too much for that kind of fuckery.
Trumbull county checking in, how's it going boys?
Hey someone close to me finally @doublewhiskey I'm in Ashtabula county
@Young Spaghetti oh sweet man I'm right on the Ashtabula county line
@doublewhiskey I'm right on the lake. But I've been down there a lot for clinicals when I was in nursing school
@Young Spaghetti oh cool I was up that way at Garrett's in the mall to pick some fun stuff up lol & funny enough I went to Kent Ashtabula for a while
