2020-04-28 02:38:30 UTC

Definitely, we're in this together

2020-04-28 02:39:56 UTC

And both my parents are buried and from KY, Louisville and Fort Knox, so its like a second home state.

2020-04-28 02:40:56 UTC

2020-04-28 03:58:57 UTC

2020-04-28 04:17:44 UTC

From Pulaski County, not much use right now but figured I'd let everyone know there's someone there.

2020-04-28 04:26:05 UTC

Why no use?

2020-04-28 04:30:03 UTC

No guns, no gear and no money. Just introducing myself as a friend to the group. Hopefully later I can participate more.

2020-04-28 05:02:00 UTC

2020-04-28 05:02:19 UTC

It’s a fantastic day in wky

2020-04-28 19:00:05 UTC

Weather's real nice. If I had more time, I'd do a little arts and crafts.

2020-04-28 19:07:35 UTC

West ky

2020-04-28 22:15:57 UTC

Any of my Kentuckians planning any local protests or rallies? What’s going on across the commonwealth.

2020-04-28 22:47:19 UTC

In my county there is a confederate flag flying at the old courthouse and some cowards want it taken down. Nothing new under the sun.

2020-04-28 22:48:08 UTC

I don’t think it’s cowardice to want to see the flag taken down but I digress as my personal opinion on the matter is irrelevant to the facts.

2020-04-28 22:48:35 UTC

Nothing going on here, but I don't like loud and upfront. I can't be a PR guy, haha. I'm too concerned on OPSEC.

2020-04-28 22:49:17 UTC

Ah gotcha. If we can get something going in Frankfort I’ll definitely post it here

2020-04-28 22:52:55 UTC

Imo the cowardice comes from their rejecting the flag and what it stands for, which is largely a willingness to struggle and sacrifice against all odds for the perceived greater good.

2020-04-28 22:53:54 UTC

I agree on a personal level but the idea of change isn’t in itself a horrible notion.

2020-04-28 22:54:18 UTC

Tricky subject, states rights vs “right to own slave” subject, so yeah

2020-04-28 22:55:08 UTC

At any rate, my county used to be a confederate county and so it's part of our heritage, to take it down would rob the people of it

2020-04-28 22:55:17 UTC

Ehh, everyone has the right to freedom. And the Feds nor the State should be able to control people's choices so long as it does not bring physical harm to others.

2020-04-28 22:55:34 UTC

^ bingo

2020-04-28 22:57:38 UTC

I mean, to tell you the truth they could take down that flag and cut it to pieces, as long as the demographic of our area is conserved, that is to me of utmost importance.

2020-04-28 22:58:23 UTC

I don't like when people want to erase history, because then they expect people to forget it, and eventually they are doomed to repeat it.

2020-04-28 22:59:18 UTC

I don't really care about the "Rebel flag" but when people start treating it as taboo and there's an outrage, rather than acceptance. Bad things start to happen.

2020-04-28 23:00:06 UTC

Oh for sure. But I can totally see where people come from when they tend to not like the flag. Don’t have statues of Nathan Bedford, but don’t erase the history surrounding him. Ya know?

2020-04-28 23:00:38 UTC

I disagree, statues are very important. As that's those people's history, their families.

2020-04-28 23:01:04 UTC

Statues are for idolization of people

2020-04-28 23:01:11 UTC

I used to do Civil War Reenactments (Union mostly) But we understand that the history there should be kept.

2020-04-28 23:01:26 UTC

history books are where the history lays
