Stealthy as a house cat I watch my neighbor unload her groceries. She goes inside and it's my time to strike, running with the speed of a deflated ball going down a hill I approach the car peering in the trunk. Alas the toliet (toleit?) paper! The raid is a success. I run back to the bushes near the house and crinkling as I lay down the plastic of the $20 ghillie suit being as flexible as my socks after the release of a new anime. I watch as klondike bars are lifted from the trunk, oh what I would do for one. Tactically I withdraw to the tree near the center of the cul-de-sac with the TP dragging behind. From my vantage in the tree I can see the community garden. My only source of food. I've lost close to 40 pounds over the last couple days eating nothing but lettuce. I wish that I had a scale to see my weight loss journey and update Facebook but these are hard times of training. I grab my replica musket not needing a background check to buy one avoiding the ATF in my efforts of rebellion. As night falls I move to my vantage point to stand guard. The tree is next to the bedroom window of the girl I have always had a crush on and never closes her window blinds. Slowly scaling the tree, branches break off as they're caught on my musket protruding in a similar fashion to my pants. As I approach the top my mouth dries. She's changing as the world starts to spin. I forgot to take my insulin as my puppet like body falls with the grace of Uncle Mike after a bottle of happy juice at his daughters wedding screaming at his wife that he should stay with his mistress.
