There could be many reasons. The one I am familiar with is the extractor was worn out. The new unfired round would jam into the casing that was attempting to be ejected.

Testing on noveske barrels has shown they actually perform pretty poorly for the price. Like 1.5 moa with decent ammo. For the price, you can get pro tier barrels that shoot under half moa like a compass lake krieger stainless.

3 - 10 shot groups with each barrel using hand loads. The heavy barrel performed fairly well but others were of acceptable standards for average barrels.
