This dude was selling 3 of his on armslist for stupid cheap to pay for wife’s medical bills

2020-05-18 18:17:43 UTC

DMR is definitely an official military term lmao, it’s not from halo

2020-05-18 18:18:29 UTC

Never said it wasn’t

2020-05-18 18:18:34 UTC

5.56 is perfectly capable of precision engagements at 500 yards

2020-05-18 18:19:15 UTC

Yea I plink 550 at my range 8” steel targets

2020-05-18 18:20:21 UTC

Been considering putting my accupoint on my 11.5.
The Huey is nice but the only thing I don't like is the battery life

2020-05-18 18:22:26 UTC

I was surprised at just how short 1500 hours is

2020-05-18 18:23:29 UTC

It’s capable of hitting targets but .308 and 6.5 grend hit it with a hell of a lot more energy

2020-05-18 18:26:21 UTC

I mean like you’re technically correct

2020-05-18 18:27:55 UTC

The best kind

2020-05-18 18:28:06 UTC

And I can put 6.5 grendel in an AR15

2020-05-18 18:28:17 UTC

And the only increase in weight is really the ammunition

2020-05-18 18:28:24 UTC

Which isn’t that much of an increase

2020-05-18 18:30:43 UTC

How to tell if someone shoots 6.5 grendel: they'll let you know before you ask.
Jkjk, I hear it's a nice round. I'm just not into wildcats

2020-05-18 18:31:03 UTC

I don’t consider it a wildcat if I can find steel case

2020-05-18 18:31:39 UTC

If it didn’t have a surplus option I’d discount it and go with a heavy 5.56 or .308

2020-05-18 18:33:01 UTC

Certainly no 8mm nambu but it's still nonstandard. I might even have one if I made more money

2020-05-18 18:34:38 UTC

Nonstandard sure

2020-05-18 18:34:49 UTC

But good enough that I can stock it deep

2020-05-18 18:36:22 UTC

Before rona I was considerig a 6.5 Grendel, steel case ammo was under 25cpr for a while

2020-05-18 18:36:30 UTC

A good amount under

2020-05-18 18:38:12 UTC

Yep

2020-05-18 18:52:57 UTC

Oh damn that's pretty good

2020-05-18 20:11:10 UTC

Reading up a little on 300blk. Granted given my track record of thinking of doing things, I probably won't build one, but the idea seems neat

2020-05-18 20:16:03 UTC

Oh god oh fuck

2020-05-18 20:16:04 UTC

Got my new yeet stick

2020-05-18 20:17:06 UTC

I’ll get one for a truck gun

2020-05-18 20:18:39 UTC

Yeah I was sorta considering the idea of a truck gun. Not for keeping in my truck since that's just supporting burglars, but something that I could take in my truck, move in and out of it with, and maybe take out into the woods or something. It'd also be the right size for my fiance

2020-05-18 21:59:18 UTC

That is not a weapon that has any place in a civilised society. The Only possible use for such a thing is to murder small children and fluffy bunnies and that sort of gruesome violence must be stopped at all costs. You can not justify owning that weapon unless you intend to squishify cuddle little newborn otters. That is what that weapon was made for and they must all be taken off our streets!

2020-05-18 22:00:20 UTC

"Fully semi automatic assault hammer"

2020-05-18 22:01:30 UTC

With a shoulder thing that goes up.

2020-05-18 22:01:56 UTC

Kek

2020-05-18 22:03:58 UTC

Anybody recommend a PASGT helmet? I've been looking at them and the surplus isn't stupid expensive

2020-05-18 22:06:09 UTC

Some ppl say that the kevlar will deteriorate after a few years but i've seen tests of old PASGT helmets and they were still able to stop pistol bullets. I picked one up for like $40 with face shield and it's a little too big but it's better than nothing, even if I never wear it.

2020-05-18 22:06:41 UTC

If you can afford an ACH it would be better

2020-05-18 22:06:41 UTC

So bottom line it would hold while I save up to replace it?

2020-05-18 22:07:11 UTC

Let me look an an ACH, i may know what it is, just might not know the name

2020-05-18 22:07:54 UTC

Yeah, lol. Almost the same thing

2020-05-18 22:08:24 UTC

Thats not too far outside of the budget. You said its better, so I'll look around and determine. Thanks for the tip my guy
