As for legal stuff, I may say take every non violent approach before arrest if possible. We don't want to be walked over but we don't want to be seen as bad people

I personally do not see counting on the legal system as prudent ROE at this time. Delaying and avoiding that at all costs first and foremost of course, but ultimately being unwilling to let yourself be caged in this environment.
