When walking though they do tend to dig into your arms a bit so I just hang the shoulder straps. In a combat situation I’d rather be mildly uncomfortable and have that extra protection.

Smaller guys can probably get away with not having the side plates. Hoplite has some nice shoulder plates. Would be a nice addition if they were made to work with other carriers

I was in the med chat the other day and a guy recommended 4 tourniquets, one for each limb (he knows more than me so know mines a joke lol)

First of all medics are for higher level interventions, not putting TQ’s on people. That’s everyone’s job. Fucking combat camera better drop their shit and start doing MARCH on someone’s ass.

I can’t comprehend being able to do that much damage control on myself in a combat scenario.

There’s a lot of dudes that have had a lot worse than just 2 TQ’s worth of injuries and been smiling and joking days later.

I’m not ex-military so I haven’t been in that situation

I’ll never rag on anyone for what they have or haven’t done. Don’t set yourself up for failure.

Hell, you could already think you’re gone, black out, and some fucking park ranger could run up, grab your TQ’s off your kit and save you

I mean luckily most of the threat we face domestically is just GSW’s, but hell, you could roll your car over tomorrow and lose your arm just above your wrist and need more than 2 TQ’s to save your life
