@minorthreat I don’t think so. Whether one believes in a creator or not, we have certain unalienable rights by birthright.
I feel separation was because the RCC had a ridiculous amount of influence on most nations under their jurisdiction in Europe. That is one of the big reasons many puritans fled to the New world.
