@Anonymoose thats exactly why we need to keep it down on mainstream social. These articles makes us look insane. Now that we’ve made a more mainstream impact, we need to be approachable. We may be right but people will never rally behind the image that we are now. We need more public outreach.

Its the same thing the media did in the mid-late 90s to discredit the growing militia movement back then... Even when we are right, we are not only wrong, but wrong And nuts.

They see us as something that can bring down there lies and they are afraid of us so they try and get as much cannon fodder as they can to use against us so they can still hold there position of power

Of course they see us as a threat. We literally are threatening them. But our public perception is “racist armed extremists” and that is not an image that people will follow and identify with.

It’s probably the most critical component to change in our image. We HAVE to be more vocal about our support of minorities and LGBT, while still denouncing the rampant pedophilia and abuse in said community. Support their rights does not mean supporting everything they do. It’s a fine line, but we need to be able to find it and walk it.

Sona thought: for years, decades actually, on the census and every other official form that has a race section I always choose or wrote in American. Now, that may not be everyones preferred national affiliation, but I can see a good PR peice explaining that, unfortunately we don't have any black members, or Latino members or gender-fluid members. We dont have white members in fact, all we have are American members. And Canadian members. And possibly if we hold that line and never stray from that identity, the race issue is suddenly, "what's with all this drive to label us a particular race? Is that what your problem with our message is?"

The key to the PR game of fighting this level of bad coverage is going to be turning the accusation back on the accuser. And it isn't that hard because these charges are usually a projection of their guilt. So turn every thing back on them. We're not white supremacists, we have no idea how many of what race makes up our ranks, why are you so obsessed with race? We arent right wing, we're apolitical, why is who I vote for so frightening to you? We dont want to go on murderous sprees for kicks, why do you view life, and the taking of it so flippantly and on and on

I am part of a group thats working to get a podcast up so thats a start @flyingwolf

We have to make our own news so we can combat the ones that target us and then we can discredit then and prove them wrong and we should report on whats happening in the name of liberty around the country

We need articles that can spread far and wide. Podcasts are great but most people just read headlines and first few paragraphs

We need to stop being talk about things we do and if we make our own news then it will motivate people to go out and do something

And we need a name for our news
