I made an open group on https://riot.im/ for better security and as a backup in case this server goes down. **Riot** is similar to Discord but it has the advantages of being open-source, decentralized, and it offers end-to-end encryption.
It's not finished, but if you want in, download the software or use your browser to make an account. No email or personal info required. It's available for both phones and PCs.

Nice. I think you have to join all the rooms individually unfortunately. But there aren't 50 state rooms, just regional.

@Rocking_Chair88 what did you end up needing to do? Got it downloaded, lets me join on the web version but won't open and can't manually search for it in the app. Might be searching the wrong thing :P
The only way I was able to get in was through the browser on the web version. I still haven't figured out the app.
I created my account on the web version on my PC. Then I was able to sign in on the app and it works now
now it can't reach the servers
