@DrPeper It is my understanding King George was meeting with Hitler...even during the war. Of course this was after he advocated the throne. Suspicion is he wanted to play both sides.

I don’t have a diagram, but think a ball being thrown away from your point. It gets smaller as it moves away. But because of rotation it makes more sense. Bam
How do you know the Sun is physical?
Also, the sun does change size
It gets slightly larger at zenith and slight smaller at the horizon. There is experiments showing this could be possible with atmospheric lensing
if the sun was high enough above the atmosphere, it would hardly shrink due to the lensing
