Trust your instincts(pre-rational, Moral Foundations) even if you cant rationalize them, they correspond to some imposition of cost on some property group or individual. Those individuals that want to have everything rationally justified are a disease it started with Sokrates in Greece one of the main perpetrator by saying Reason above everything he is one of the reasons for the consequental decline of greek civilization.

2017-07-13 17:32:47 UTC

socrates was a sperg

2017-07-13 17:32:56 UTC

for all of his contrarian edgelord cleverness he couldn't understand "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

2017-07-13 17:33:14 UTC

I was never really impressed with him honestly

2017-07-13 17:37:57 UTC

They should have executed him way earlier just a subversive element

2017-07-13 17:53:07 UTC

there are limits to what is knowable, obviously, but if you want to be all rationalistic you should work with those limits to the best of your ability, just like chemists and physicists are able to do math involving significant figures and error terms

2017-07-13 17:53:22 UTC

or with probabilistic estimates

2017-07-13 17:53:28 UTC

socrates was actually rather simple

2017-07-13 17:54:05 UTC

plato and aristotle both knew a shitload more and did a shitload more

2017-07-13 17:54:51 UTC

I think plato must've been really impressed with socrates because of dunning kruger effect, plato being a genius heard socrates' Conspiracy_Keanu.jpg and used his giant genius mind to read way more into it than was actually there

@Deleted User 57835c2c Another interesting fact is the morphology of his skull he is shown with a really small pig like nose which is a trait that doesnt exist in nordic indo-european peoples who have longer faces and subsequently a longer midface/Nose. I am pretty sure that he was descendent from neolithic tribes that were living there before the indo-europeans came

2017-07-13 18:02:26 UTC

The 🐷 nose is an Anglo trait

2017-07-13 18:02:58 UTC

I don't like those noses too

2017-07-13 18:14:56 UTC

no it isn't

2017-07-13 18:15:18 UTC

i think it would be called "alpine"

2017-07-13 18:15:27 UTC

seems most common in central europe

2017-07-13 18:18:59 UTC

The Anglo bent upward noses are pig 👃 s

2017-07-13 18:19:15 UTC

It's common and ugly to look at
