sure it is
fight the power, get paid, profit
seems like a job to me
I fight the power using the tools the power has allowed itself to be fought with
im a technical manager at a prototyping shop
build a sodomotron army
we dont do that kind of prototyping unfortunately
mostly automotive/aircraft interior soft trim
but i could talk to my boss
dunno how the big 3 would feel about a sodomotron army
i'll see if i can get a purchase order from them
start with a prototype of one sodomotron
before moving on to a prototype of the full army
thats kinda what prototyping is
i'll have to create the gdt tho
we have to give it a code name
dodge ram is DT
code name: sodomobot
jeep wrangler is JL
code name: friendlybot
There's a fun idea: when sex bots become commonplace, write a virus that causes the sex bot to sodomize its owner
that's why sex bots will only be built to 2/3 human scale
easier to stop if it turns on us
a sexbot is just a mannequin with a motor and some features
from a computer
I have this feeling people don't understand how fantastical an idea "AI" is
its as if its just inevitable
when we dont even understand consciousness or intelligence in principle
a computer and an abacus are ultimately the same kind of thing
You have to be very careful who you listen to regarding scientific and technological matters.
People will hype up prospective technologies just because they sound or look cool in entertainment.
god watches all sparrows fall
Even Captain Jack?
Anyways point is that most people don't have a clue what they're talking about when it comes to science and technology, especially the future thereof.
I'm guessing that this is true of most other disciplines.
its even worse
most people considered experts tend to not have a clue either
e.g. Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk talking about AI
they had a little argument about it
both were spouting pure fantasy
