so
for my one handed bench, I usually stick to 2 sets of 10 reps
with how much
For flys I do the same
Like I said, I don't know how much weight
how much for the fly
it's not listed
are you at least maxing the machine?
I'd have to measure it
On the fly? no.
how much do you weigh
160
do you have a vocal problem?
what?
like a kind of speech impediment
no
Was told I'm a fairly good public speaker, actually
you reminded me of someone for a sec
lmao
okay then, I'll out and say it
People tell me I'm noticably muscular
a lot of people cook up special snowflake workouts of odd moves nobody does because they want to feel strong without it being clear to themselves and others how little weight they can actually move on staple movements. This describes you
I was stuck in a similar rut for a long period
I've literally never found anyone that can do a heavier weighted pull up than me in real life
however, at the time I did not know it was a rut
If you have any examples I'm open to hear it
do you squat or deadlift
nope
do you bench or row?
I do similar movements. Don't have a bench per say.
do you do any kind of overhead pressing move?
Not presses. Like I said, I do pull downs.
so that right there is a huge muscle balance issue
Oh here we go
so out of roughly 6 staple movements in an exercise program, you only have one of them
So I'm essentially not getting stronger because I'm not doing "staple movements" is what you're proposing?
that one move is pretty legit strong, but you weigh 160 and have only gained 15 lbs from the start. how long have you been at this?
Like a little over a year
okay
so... you're basically a guppy at this
