An idea making sense to a person is predicated on it agreeing with their understanding of how the world works
The big bang is a fallacy
how is the big bang a fallacy
like deux ex machina?
We wuz chemicals in space
How did the chemicals,get@there?
In a formless universe, why would there be a chemical reaction of any kind?
that same tautology works with religious explanations
there's a god? well then who made him?
Mormons have an answer to that
Religion accepts that God is cosmic
how many answers, though?
i'm not familiar with it
One
A cosmic wizard who doesn't follow the rules of reality
yeah its definitely possible
but to come to that conclusion from the evidence presented in your lifetime
God was created by a prior God, and that God by a prior God in endless succession
thats not really an answer though is it?
We openly do not know where it started
Time doesn't have to work exactly the way we understand it
for sure
Further, we believe creation involved only organization of preexisting matter with no idea at all where the matter came from
I accept that "god time" is beyond human comprehension
i dont disagree
what i'm asking is, how does any of this make you reach god as a solution?
When I read the Bible it seems true
how?
It just does, like on an internal level
Kind of like remembering something
Like you already knew it
interesting
When I read the muslim bible, i can feel its power, but it doesnt seem as true
When i read the big bang theory, it just seems false
when i watch the big bang theory it seems false
"We can explain everything with science, except we can't explain anything"
anyone that says they can explain everything with science is a big dope
What they really mean is that a science priest can tell you what to think
Scientists are priests
lol
