Old earth doesn't line up with the bible , that's what it *ultimately* comes down to
In my mind, I understand why someone might believe in god, it's a way of dealing with stress, and allowing those who follow the bible (or any other theistic religion) to go about the rest of their life. I like religion for the aspect of the moral compass, that's why I go to church, because I like the morals of christianity. I do not believe in god, though.
I believe (don't say it's anecdotal you little shits) that god is a projection of our ideals, but somewhere in the mix (somewhere in the last 2018 years, when the bible was created, and changed), we turned it around to where we believe that god created us, when in reality, we created him.

PROPOSE AN ALTERNATIVE
The Bible doesn't need to line up perfectly with our modern notions of old Earth. The Bible isn't a historical account, it is a testament to the Divinity of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the same which is called Israel
telelogical*
i think
@Niles do you think the God of Abraham , Issac, and Jacob, is not the God of Paul, Peter, or John?
the Kalam isn't inductive
How can you find out whether someone never lies or not?
the Kalaam is an a priori argument I think

how does this all relate to TAG?
It doesn't
Israel's covenant was transferred to Christians
