But it's been written, translated, and rewritten so many times

I see the bible as a compilation of explanations, for parents to tell their kids

Because they are incapable of making up explanations themselves

Studying the beliefs of people from around the world, how they formed their religions and where they came from, you can get a good grasp of there certainly being *something* other than us out there, and the more you look into it the more you start to notice certain... patterns. repeating patterns of civilizations that have had no contact with eachother. That is what pulled me from being atheist back to some sort of believer.
