its like

2018-08-11 20:09:53 UTC

500

2018-08-11 20:10:04 UTC

aight

2018-08-11 20:10:05 UTC

cool

2018-08-11 20:10:12 UTC

cause the 1080 is 500-600 atm

2018-08-11 20:10:34 UTC

i'll probably be finishing this build around december anyways

2018-08-11 20:11:28 UTC

so that's plenty of time for this stuff to come and for the aftermarket cards (evga and shit) to come out

2018-08-11 20:13:59 UTC

@Xenoframe If i were you I'd go with Ryzen 5 2600X, some nice AM4 motherboard, 3000MHz at least RAMs and a GTX 1060/580

2018-08-11 20:14:28 UTC

then next year upgrade to Ryzen 3000 series built on 7nm with improvements without having to buy a new motherboard

2018-08-11 20:14:42 UTC

i have no money

2018-08-11 20:14:45 UTC

and i can run everything already

2018-08-11 20:14:58 UTC

oof wrong ping, meant him

2018-08-11 20:15:01 UTC
2018-08-11 20:15:07 UTC

above^

2018-08-11 20:15:24 UTC

but he should wait for the 1100 series

2018-08-11 20:15:27 UTC

its gonna be a lot better

2018-08-11 20:15:51 UTC

it will most likely be called 2000 series actually

2018-08-11 20:15:56 UTC

and it wont be mainstream upgrade

2018-08-11 20:16:03 UTC

it will focus on Ray tracing and premium technologies

2018-08-11 20:16:09 UTC

as Nvidia holds the market right now

2018-08-11 20:16:09 UTC

benchmarks were leaked i think

2018-08-11 20:16:15 UTC

yes, doesnt mean its true

2018-08-11 20:16:28 UTC

i was going to make a ryzen build

2018-08-11 20:16:33 UTC

ryzen is good

2018-08-11 20:16:36 UTC

but it underperforms in games i want to play

2018-08-11 20:16:43 UTC

uh what

2018-08-11 20:16:43 UTC

such as arma

2018-08-11 20:16:52 UTC

<:GWlulurdTomStare:391322002692112384>

2018-08-11 20:16:53 UTC

i get way more bang for my buck with i7 on arma

2018-08-11 20:16:54 UTC

@Xenoframe the IPC is nearly around the same

2018-08-11 20:16:58 UTC

and as i said

2018-08-11 20:17:18 UTC

next year will come 3000 serism built on 7nm with improved architecture, clock speeds should also be alot higher

2018-08-11 20:17:34 UTC

i7 8600 or i7 8600k is what im going to get

2018-08-11 20:17:39 UTC

the current gen is built on 14nm Low Power node, initially intended for mobile processors
7nm will be high power node

2018-08-11 20:18:01 UTC

wellp, thats a bad choice imo, but its your money

2018-08-11 20:18:08 UTC

this is my build

2018-08-11 20:18:11 UTC

are we still posting pics of battlestations in here

2018-08-11 20:18:22 UTC

remember that AM4 platform will last until 2020, thats confirmed

2018-08-11 20:18:23 UTC

8700***

2018-08-11 20:18:31 UTC
