@NormieCamo if you knew me, you would know that i have a set of principles that i strongly abide by, which are equality and fairness especially for marginalized or vulnerable groups. these are the general principles that i adhere to and is the perspective from which i view most things.

on that same note, i do read a lot, because i understand that as an individual my first-hand knowledge and experience of the world is limited. i think it’s more important to expose yourself to different opinions that it is to base your opinions entirely off of your own limited experiences. some of these viewpoints i have no personal knowledge about, like abortion, and other viewpoints help me refine the opinions i already have.

The deterioration of laissez faire capitalism will eventually make it untenable as an economic system, as there will be no way to prevent prohibited goods and services from making their way to market. The great experiment has come to an end, and we can now say that laissez faire itself is not necessarily the problem. Quite the opposite, in fact; human nature has proven to be the deciding factor in the long-term sustainability of such a system. As such, the next logical step will be to devise a market system that is only regulated by the respective theological covenants of the land in which it resides; laisser Dieu. Unfortunately, this system cannot be implemented on its own. Laisser Dieu will require the establishment of a new form of government, that which blends republicanism, monarchy and both clerical and empirical oversight along with decentralized, hard-backup technology to facilitate the operation of said government. I can see no alternative. Change my mind, if you can.

What's the point of illegalising gun sale if the criminals will get them from black market anyway. The only one unarmed will be the law abiding citizen, who will get killed.

@Noxar yeah that is true just legalize it and tax it. I have never understood why liberals are allowed to say "people will get it anyway" for marijauna but wont apply the same reasoning to guns
