@agag you are very familiar with the sources about this topic, you know what would be intersting to know? how many jewish died in the countries occupied by germany during the last year of the war. the one who fled germany, or were hiding etc. including those killed by the red army

@John Rebuttal The number killed by the Red Army would be negligible, especially since there were a large number of Jews in the Red Army at the time. The camps were also mostly evacuated before the Red Army ever reached them

You also take into consideration that fact a shit ton of Jews left German occupied Poland

and the Einsatzgruppen had been through the lands occupied by the Germans in the USSR

Surely there's a better way to prove the Holocaust. usa's argument is weak. It rests on Eichmann's testimony, the fact that Hitler was receiving Einsatzgruppen reports (which never mentions death camps) and a report saying Jews passed through camps.

oh, the 1.3 million in the General Government? That's Korherr's number for how many were residing in that territory at the time, not how many had been killed in that territory at that time. But since the vast majority of Poland's Jewish population died, most of that number would end up being counted

@Supreme Leader Kim 🧧 @The_Don_73 you both misunderstand what the Korherr Report is saying. It's not saying that these many Jews were transferred to camps or passed through them. It's a revision to the document, which originally used a word that's a German code for mass murder.

that's why Himmler ordered the word be changed

and the Einsatzgruppen reports aren't used to prove death camps, they're used to prove the Einsatzgruppen activities in the east, which killed ~1.3 million Jews

i got what you were saying. that 1,3m were not people who have been killed. but if a lot of that people who actually died wer ecounted as holocaust victims, isn't that inflating the numbers?

if one think about it for a second, there were so many ways those numbers could be inflated.

Einsatzgruppe A, had 990 members. If we subtract from this the 172 vehicle drivers, 3 women employees, 51 interpreters, 3 teletypewriter operators and 8 radio operators, there are about 750 combatants left to use for the mass killings

and afterwards , anyone questioning the accuracy of the numbers was labeled as anti-semitic
