It's hard to explain in english
@thrill_house and not investing money into education worsens everything. Look at the US honestly, largest economy yet it's industry mostly comprises low-skilled manufacturing which can easily be subjected to competition by developing countries with a large labour force like China.
I can try when I get home
Finland has so much unemployment
When in terms of exports I mean, the US manufacturing industry is way behind other developed countries overall.
i said this yesterday
few h rs later my acc gets bannned lmao
not the way ours is designed with student loans and how college is basically taking anyone who will make the money. we installed a system where just about everyone has unlimited money to get whatever degree they wish (where millions never finish because they were never smart enough for college to begin with but someone gave them the idea that it's in their best interest to attend) and then they spend the rest of their lives at $30k/year jobs paying off loans they will never be free from
>new to discord
lmao
F
with everyone going to school here, the standards for degrees have been watered down and the meaning of getting an education is now pointless
and guess who fell for this trap? who's now over-represented at all our universities? women and minorities
Europe does it better than the US in the sense that around middle school they identify which students should be focusing on trades instead of taking "Shakespearian Philosophy Pt 2"
if we were a homogenous society, I'd agree with you that investing in education is in our best interest. We're not though. We have so many people who are honestly wasting a shit ton of time and resources at universities all to become professional hair stylists after they finish college.
Hell yes
So excited for that
@thrill_house as you suggested, why not reform your middle-high school education? State schools in the US are funded by the property taxes right? That would mean schools in poorer districts where the lands have much less value would be heavily underfunded, the people in these areas would generally receive poor quality education where the teachers and curriculum wouldn't help to prepare the students when they enter society. Thus creating less jobs and employment opportunities for people living in these districts, hindering economic growth in these areas, repeating the cycle. Anyway those for-profit colleges are the reason why the US education standards are watered down, they accept just about anyone with a student loan regardless whether whatever they teach in return is what the industry wants, that's why Bernie Sanders was popular among tertiary education students.
Globo-homo btfo
every school in the district receives the exact same amount of money and each teacher is paid the exact same regardless of what school they teach at. The only difference from 1 school to another out here is the kids inside the building
@🚂Quatroking🚂 (🇳🇱) I play call of duty to kill nazis along with my black and female teammates
I watch The Man in the High Castle and root for the nazis
tbh that's not exactly a hard thing to do seeing how terrible the anti-nazis are written
Wait, since the school budgets are funded mostly by property taxes, how is it equal? Unless you're telling me the US government gives subsidies to these schools to ensure equal funding.
it all goes back to race really, no one wants to teach niggers but they can't publicly say it
Americans are obsessed with race
oh also happy columbus day
where I live in Clark County, NV, every school receives the exact same funding based on the amount of kids that attend the school. This is why we have cops go to your home when you don't show up for school looking for you
English football clubs are not majority English
@thrill_house Maybe if the Anglos weren’t obsessed with having abortions they’d birth some talent
Yep, they're mostly best players bought from all over the world
Currently it’s Hazard’s time
can't say I'm an expert on the English birth-rate matter
I hope Chelsea beats Man United and Tottenham ties
@Logical-Scholar Nah, their own home league is filled with talented immigrants, giving less opportunities for the English
They do have Harry Kane though
Trippier
Is quite good
