Attorney General that didn't defend Trump's travel ban, gets fired by the man she went against
It think she was appointed by Obama, but she was doin' her job
It wasn't just that he/she "didn't defend" it, but rather outright refused to enforce it
Now
I'll be honest here
I do not know if an Attorney General has the power to ignore/outright refuse to enforce laws in regards to Executive Orders
So, my question here is, do they have that power?
as I don't know my politics, I don't know
If not, then it's justifiable and understandable that he's gone
Ah
all I know is that the position is appointed by a president.... I think
I believe so
So, with him having been appointed by Obama in the first place, he only likely had a number of days left anyways
So it's a really useless thing to really be bothered by
Especially when the arguments going against these travel bans are, to quote Chuck Schumer, because it's "mean spirited"
