I pirated a certain game to see if I liked it and I did

just a few hours ago I bought it on steam

the pirated version runs 30 frames higher than the steam one

the steam version allows you to use mouse to click on things while the pirated version does not

so here I am facing a dillema, which version do I play? should I refund?

I think that all updates are applied in the game's .exe

I doubt this is the case, but maybe I can change some values or something to enable stuff I want from the pirate version

I should probably mention that the game only runs @31fps in areas with more of assets, areas with only slightly more assets are 45fps and the rest is pretty much the same

Have you tried messing with the graphic settings?

Yes, the default steam settings caused the game to run at 21

after changing to the same settings as on the pirated ver I got the unstable 31+

What does the update even add?

It allows you to click on things

whereas previously you'd have to either move your mouse and hit enter

some buttons wouldn't work at all

not that you'd need them, they're only for convienience

I'd go with higher FPS than clicking
