I went to a church service with my friend yesterday and I was actually kind of offended on how they operated
I wish more churches would return to traditional, reverent services
Like when the preacher started praying after his sermon, the band loudly went up to the front and started setting up all their equipment and then started playing music behind the prayer
For one thing, music behind a prayer is fucking disgraceful and all these people weren't actually praying, I mean even the preacher was moving stuff on stage while "praying"
These youth churches, or "new age" as I call them are fucking disgusting and offensive to real Christianity imo
Oh and everyone applauded after every song which is also irreverent

It’s this need to be contemporary that has absolutely ruined a lot of modern churches today. There’s no fear of God, there’s no real worship. They just want something to make them “feel good.” They only care about vindicating themselves instead of vindicating God.

The problem is, the church is not a building—it's the body of Christ. When the body of Christ are in a congregation, it becomes a church.
Most churches are ear-tickling and boring anyway so I don't go to church because of "tradition."
