Well we disagree heavily then.

2018-04-20 00:00:19 UTC

imagine someone having the funds in hand to buy every square foot of american soil

2018-04-20 00:00:26 UTC

i mean like gold bars not mason papers

2018-04-20 00:00:40 UTC

i would LOVE for someone to buy the federal government

2018-04-20 00:00:46 UTC

and no one, not a single other person or even group of people were able to topple that man

2018-04-20 00:01:10 UTC

then yeah

2018-04-20 00:01:14 UTC

accelerationism.erection

2018-04-20 00:01:18 UTC

let him purchase every square foot

2018-04-20 00:01:20 UTC

one by one

2018-04-20 00:01:29 UTC

although

2018-04-20 00:01:44 UTC

we aren't really talking about someone buying a country

2018-04-20 00:01:48 UTC

Are you a libertarian individual?

2018-04-20 00:02:05 UTC

I hope I don't sound accusatory, I'm just trying to understand better.

2018-04-20 00:02:29 UTC

if i tell you that i am a libertarian, are you going to treat the things i say as "those words which a libertarian might peddle"?

2018-04-20 00:02:45 UTC

No.

2018-04-20 00:02:48 UTC

i think we've gone into the hypothetical too much

2018-04-20 00:02:58 UTC

Even if you were a communist I would just debate you as normal.

2018-04-20 00:02:59 UTC

because on a base principle i agree with you

2018-04-20 00:03:21 UTC

i think that a nation aught to do what is best for the most people in the nation

2018-04-20 00:03:25 UTC

the people who that nation belong to

2018-04-20 00:03:31 UTC

HOWEVER

2018-04-20 00:04:06 UTC

it is an interesting case in the united states where we *should* view our government as one which does not grant and ungrant rights to citizens like privileges

2018-04-20 00:04:15 UTC

but respects rights given to citizens by god

2018-04-20 00:04:24 UTC

or by their own life if you're more of an areligious person

2018-04-20 00:04:40 UTC

Well now we come to another problem.

2018-04-20 00:04:42 UTC

Well it’s not a exactly a *right* if it can be taken away

2018-04-20 00:04:44 UTC

and i think that private property, amongst other things, aught to be left alone without just cause

2018-04-20 00:04:48 UTC

The "citizenship" question.

2018-04-20 00:04:55 UTC

Oh boy

2018-04-20 00:05:14 UTC

Originally, only whites could be citizens, and only land owning males could vote.

2018-04-20 00:05:30 UTC

If a right can be granted or taken away at will, is it truly a right, or a privilege?

2018-04-20 00:05:42 UTC

A privilege, by definition

2018-04-20 00:05:48 UTC

well i said "we should view our government as one which does not grant and ungrant rights to citizens like privileges"

2018-04-20 00:05:54 UTC

Well that is what we've done.

2018-04-20 00:05:56 UTC

and that was the original intention of our government

2018-04-20 00:06:02 UTC

but now we bannin guns n sheit

2018-04-20 00:06:28 UTC

also libertarian as i may sound in certain conversations

2018-04-20 00:06:41 UTC

Its ok if you are libertarian.

2018-04-20 00:06:49 UTC

I was 2 years ago as well.

2018-04-20 00:07:15 UTC

i totally believe passing laws restricting the business practices of companies like facebook which run the business of public forum aught to be held in violation of the constitution for undue censorship without a damn fine reason

2018-04-20 00:07:18 UTC

Its a nice ideology that would work if our reality weren't as it were.
