Jak 2 did good. The women had big tits and only one black guy in the series.

Yeah, I wasn't necessarily using it as a bad example despite combining it with Shadow

And the one black guy that was in the series was a badass and not just some black randomly thrown in.

It's an ok game, but by no means is it innocent

In the case of going with fads, it's what the Jak series is actually about.

They spent a good two or three years researching different cultures to mix and mash it into one. That's why the names in Jak are foreign sounding (Jak is from one of the languages in Africa) and the visual styles came from a number of Asian styles.

Same with its gameplay taking from GTA and Tony Hawk.

They basically took all the great things and mashed them into one great game.

The design for the character of Jak went through multiple approvals from representatives of different cultures to blend his design into one that all cultures can enjoy.

That's why while the game is American made, it doesn't look or seem like an American game by no means. (Not that it feels like an Eastern game, either.)
