@Nemets I suspect it has to do with media sensationalism. In the 70's, 80's and 90's serial killers were reported sensationally and made into celebrities. After Columbine, the media started focusing on mass shooters making them into celebrities.

There are far more guns in America, is it not a truism you'll have more people killed by guns in that case

Funny thing is, gun ownership has no bearing on the stats. Some of the safest states have the most guns and slackets gun laws... (and are mostly white)

You would expect it to be relatively higher in all states

let's acknowledge the fact that any statistics on American whites is probably lumping in nonwhites and whites with significant admixtures

I'm saying it's believable that white America is a little more homicidal because these are usually impassioned impulses and there are more guns around giving more expediency to murder
It's not just Europeans they lump into the white violence stats.
Depends on the group and the part of the country their in, the Scots-Irish in WV and Kentucky are far more violent than their Northern Irish cousins, for example or Anglos in Mississippi tend to be more violent than their British counterparts. I have heard theories that the British chose and deported clans and families with a violent reputation to the colonial frontier. So maybe that could be an explanation.

"Hispanic Whites" are most likely included in a lot of white stats as well
