it's bullshit. glorified scam artists use worthless ocean temperature modeling to make "corrections" that magically result in the global warming trend that gets them more grant money
what passes for climate science is just sleazy data manipulation
they don't even try to make their field seem legitimate by doing the bare minimum required in any legitimate scientific field to pass the laugh test
any time you see a graph with temperatures going back farther than 1880, it's been constructed using "proxy" data -- things that are supposed to correlate with temperature. almost all such climate science graphs will not tell you this, instead glibly representing the data from proxies just the same as data from actual thermometers, as if it's all from the same source
that's intellectually dishonest to begin with. but it gets 100 times worse
if you were going to use these "proxies" to approximate temperature, then have the gall to represent your approximations as actual temperature measurements when they're not, you'd think the scientists would have to be pretty confident about how well those proxies hold up, right?
yeah, no. it turns out nobody has even BOTHERED to RECORD THE DATA on the major proxies in roughly 50 years
the correlation could be shit. nobody knows because nobody wants to know
good luck getting funding for a study that could undermine part of the climate alarmist scam
you can't. the proxies will probably never be updated

when climate scientists start supporting large-scale nuclear power, update their proxies, make their data public, and otherwise conform to the basic minimal standards of **every other scientific field** i will begin to treat their field as if it were not a scam
