@✠ TTG ✠ I've been meaning to ask you what are your thoughts on the bombing of Dresden? Do you have any literature about it that you can recommend?
The bombing was both horrible and unnecessary and should be regarded as a war crime... Dresden was mostly a civilian city, so it had no real involvement in the war. One book I can recommend would be "The Destruction of Dresden" by David Irving
Even worse is that some left wing politicians in Germany suggest that Dresden should be bombed again (due to the fact that most inhabitants in Dresden today are pretty right-wing)
Wasn't Dresden also a refugee city for the people fleeing from the Soviets?
