I wanted to get into electrician apprentice but the union here fucks it all up
and there are millions of dollars waiting still
What do you mean?
I'm about to leave town, couldn't meet with an advisor though
student loans thru government.
Im actually a union eletrician apprentice lol
pls dont dox
@Jackk you ride?
ive been SIEGing with FAFSA, the FHA when i ibought my house, using the federal money i pay for my house with thats doubled in value and get good tax returns from the tuition costs and my property
Nah have thought about getting a bike a lot but havent got one yet
and taking advantage of every free system i can get in my state
The union adds a few hoops. still possible but a bit trickier. basically it asks the employer to invest more into you, pre-hire
im worth probably $400K something
Being in the Union is good
yeah i was UA, plumbing welding pipefitting unionfor a while
i quit after i learned life expectancy was 2 years after retirement
so while it's still a possibility, i don't know any electricians well. hard to find them looking for apprentices as it is
its good money but i hated the people i worked with so much
@Jackk where you live?
Im in jax
Yea I am familiar. ive been in a union before
but you involuntarily pay money for superpacs of kikes and shit
Agreed it's a fuckng sweet deal once you're in
If you get one we’ll go riding
I’m down in Melbourne
I’ve got two bikes for sale
I just went to school and applied got a call a few months later after my test and interview and got in
Nice
Alright if I ever choose to get one ill hit you up
Do it.
I think getting into a union apprenticeship is a really good option for young whtie guys and makes it easier to start a family since no student loans and bomb helthcare
Im gonna save up a bit just spent a bunch on a gaming rig
For sure man. I was in a similar spot at your age
might get like a used ninja 300 or something to start idk
assuming you're like 21 i guess
yeah 21
Yup
The union is a genuine path to retirement. not many people our age will be lucky enough to say that they that tbh
it's good shit
