@Wrathsalts We are now in the best timeline... so just let it flow
God damn, I think I still have windows 7 on my old laptop that I used like 5 years ago, I still have nightmares of that keyboard and screen falling apart the more I used them.
I'll never forget playing Max Payne at our kitchen computer while my mom would be making dinner... I can't believe she didn't give a fuck what I was playing at fucking 13
I will never forget getting games like just cause, which I looked at videos about on the internet in 240P resolution and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever.
...and if you're like me, you thought Wave Race 64 had the best water graphics ever
I don't recall playing N64, I don't think I ever got it, though I do have memories of playing wierd games on the PS1.
Like an FPS space shooter which had a weird CG intro, a game which I recall was a top down shooter and you played as like a teenage girl, and a fucking strange adaptation of space invaders which I think I broke 9/10 times.
@Rez at Dorsia HOLY SHIT THOSE WAVE EFFECTS, THE ORANGE JUICE COLORED SEAS
Though with all honesty, those would be pretty impressive for the N64.
>1996
I also played a shit ton of tony hawk with my friends, like a rediculous amount, and we made rediculous courses that we made to see how high we could possibly get.
I think I exited the skybox a few times and was on the ground dying of laughter.
I remember watching the new Battlestar Galactica on TV when it was new and airing
I feel old
@Rez at Dorsia Oh I mean games like tony hawks underground 1 and 2 which I thought were amazing.
@Wrathsalts I am getting so many feels.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF MARATHONING THESE GAMES WITH MY FRIENDS WHEN THEY FIRST GAME OUT
I feel old.

I am aging myself here....
I miss those autistic flight sims
I played my fair share of jet and WW2 fighter games, but I was never really into them.
@TheStriker94 >tfw I miss going to a Costco with my mom and picking up the most dank fucking Novalogic games...

>Tfw I miss going to the mall every few weekends to pick up a new game
I know that feel
Then $10 bin was my best friend.
I remember my mom reading something about Perfect Dark... she drove me to the local EB Games and bought it
Only real OGs know the feeling of going to Blockbuster every week to trade in the games you got last week for some new ones
I went to a private place...
Money was tight around the house I grew up in, so I usually just got like a shitty $10 game that I would play for the week, and once I had finished it I usually got a new one and traded in the old one.
@Finesse I miss blockbuster
I remember when games had demos of other games on the disk.
I remember I rented a game from blockbuster back in like 2005 and they told me to keep it because they were shutting down.
It was like wall-e the video game or something?
>Blockbuster popcorn
I think we threw the game out a long time ago.
