An Austrian town has put a temporary ban on refugees after an alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The girl was walking home alone April 25 when three men attacked her. The local prosecutor in Tulln, a town of about
15,000 people, ordered 59 male asylum seekers to submit DNA samples after the victims’ testimony.

An Afghan and a Somali citizen have since been arrested. A third suspect remains on the run.

Peter Eisenschenk, Tulln’s mayor, informed the regional government Tuesday that the town will not accept any refugees
for the time being, newspaper Heute reports.

“For me, there is zero tolerance for criminal asylum seekers who abuse their rights as guests and in view of what these

The 26-year-old Navy veteran who went on a drug-fueled car rampage in New York’s Times Square, killing one woman and injuring 22 other people, now says in a jail interview that he attempted to “fix his life” and sought help but failed to receive it on time.

In an interview with the New York Post, the suspect Richard Rojas made emotional pleas for forgiveness, while at the same time remaining seemingly dumbfounded about Thursday’s events, which he now claims he cannot recall.

Rojas says he attempted to consult a mental health counselor at a local veterans’ center, but the specialist was not available until Monday, May 22.

“I was trying to get help. I wanted to fix my life. I wanted to get a job. Get a girlfriend,” Rojas told the Post, speaking from Rikers Island. “He [the counselor] said he’d call me on Monday…Monday hasn’t come yet.”

Indonesian police have detained 141 men in a raid on what authorities described as a gay prostitution ring run from a

Speaking from his home in Jerusalem Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nentanyahu welcomed President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania to the Holy City. The two leaders gave remarks about the issues facing the region and bolstered the strong alliance between the countries.

Conservative talk show host Bill Mitchell has hatched an ingenious plot to destroy the credibility of major newspapers.

Mitchell's theory is that the media is so hungry for unflattering information about President Trump that it will gobble up anything that feeds its narrative. Children were among 22 people killed in a suicide attack after an Ariana Grande concert at Britain's Manchester Arena,
police said early Tuesday.

The bomber also died when he detonated an improvised explosive device near one of the venue's exits at 10:33 p.m. local
time (5:33 p.m. ET) on Monday, according to authorities.

Eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos was among the fatalities, according to her school.

Officials said 59 other people were wounded, including some who suffered life-threatening injuries. Many others remained
missing.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack but produced no evidence. Earlier, a 23-year-old man was arrested in
Manchester in connection with the attack.

The US will scrap many of its sizeable foreign military grants and replace them with loans, the White House’s top
finance official has said. Ukraine, which received large shipments of American military equipment, is among the
countries affected by the move.

"We do change a couple of the foreign military programs from direct grants to loans," said Mick Mulvaney, director of
the White House Office of Management and Budget, as quoted by Reuters.

"Our argument was instead of ... giving somebody $100 million, we could give them a smaller number worth of loan
guarantees and they could actually buy more stuff."

In the meantime, military aid to Israel and Egypt, two close Middle Eastern allies and the biggest recipients of US
equipment, will remain in place, Mulvaney said.
