New mx5, with a v8

2017-06-13 06:42:53 UTC

lol

2017-06-13 06:43:04 UTC

I test drove the 86 and I really REALLY loved it

2017-06-13 06:43:17 UTC

I'm going to go to a mazda dealer at some point nexet week and try the new mx5

2017-06-14 09:37:52 UTC

Idk I just don't like newer sport cars

2017-06-14 09:38:31 UTC

Like their nice and have good stock parts to just go out and do stuff but eh I like tinkering around

2017-06-14 09:40:09 UTC

The main draw of some newer sports cars, is the rigid frame, with increased torsional rigidity

2017-06-14 09:40:54 UTC

from there you put on proper performance parts, and it remains more planted and predictable through the corners

2017-06-14 09:49:18 UTC

Also, stock turbo powerplants are often capable of producing massively larger amounts of power with stock internals or bottom ends.

2017-06-14 09:49:41 UTC

True, true

2017-06-14 09:50:19 UTC

Still idk I guess I just like older stuff

2017-06-14 09:50:43 UTC

The real redpill is taking things objectively

2017-06-14 09:50:57 UTC

I never said they are bad

2017-06-14 09:51:00 UTC

I love those subaru coupes, expecially with a widebody

2017-06-14 09:51:18 UTC

But they flex like mad compared to a modern chassis

2017-06-14 09:51:36 UTC

Just I prefer the older stuff I can see why their good and etc...

2017-06-14 09:52:16 UTC

yes, but you would absolutely need a cage, and probably additional stiffening for that subaru

2017-06-14 09:53:03 UTC

Oh you're talking about what I posted

2017-06-14 09:53:05 UTC

Hahhahaba

2017-06-14 09:53:15 UTC

I just posted without thinking

2017-06-14 09:53:32 UTC

Just in general really, taking what you have, and making it do what you want

2017-06-14 09:53:53 UTC

some platforms are easier or cheaper

2017-06-14 09:53:55 UTC

Well yeah that's the fun of owning/using a car

2017-06-14 09:55:35 UTC

Buying a supercar will cost you much more, but give you a lighter/stiffer chassis, buying an economy car will be cheap, but wa engineered to accept 150hp

2017-06-14 09:57:08 UTC

Basically I like seeing all types of cars pushed to their limit

2017-06-14 09:59:02 UTC

Yeah I agree

2017-06-14 09:59:40 UTC

But good sir

2017-06-14 09:59:42 UTC

Can you

2017-06-14 09:59:53 UTC

EXPLAIN THIS?!

2017-06-14 10:00:09 UTC

No

2017-06-14 10:00:14 UTC

Kek

2017-06-14 10:00:28 UTC

That doesn't even represent a big rig pattern

2017-06-14 10:00:45 UTC

It is a thing tho

2017-06-14 10:03:01 UTC

I've only observed someone shifting a tractor-trailer with a load, and to be honest i was only with him because of the cargo he was hauling

2017-06-14 10:04:49 UTC

He was hauling reels of electrical wiring, and needed an electrician to ensure he wouldn't fuck the reels up.

2017-06-14 10:06:14 UTC

There's tons of webms on /o/ of people using these

2017-06-14 10:06:49 UTC

yeah, there are low range/high range switches, PTO takeoffs, all that

2017-06-14 10:08:17 UTC

I respect truck drivers, but for the forseeable future they are hauling shit for me
