That doesn't even represent a big rig pattern

2017-06-14 10:00:45 UTC

It is a thing tho

2017-06-14 10:03:01 UTC

I've only observed someone shifting a tractor-trailer with a load, and to be honest i was only with him because of the cargo he was hauling

2017-06-14 10:04:49 UTC

He was hauling reels of electrical wiring, and needed an electrician to ensure he wouldn't fuck the reels up.

2017-06-14 10:06:14 UTC

There's tons of webms on /o/ of people using these

2017-06-14 10:06:49 UTC

yeah, there are low range/high range switches, PTO takeoffs, all that

2017-06-14 10:08:17 UTC

I respect truck drivers, but for the forseeable future they are hauling shit for me

2017-06-14 10:09:48 UTC

I considered getting my boom truck certification, but the liability on a modern site is just too high

2017-06-14 10:09:50 UTC

Yeah like they deal with so much shit man

2017-06-14 10:13:00 UTC

The truck I worked on was old, but reasonably well maintained. Owning and operating your own truck carries a massive liability to ensure every part of it is in tip top condition

2017-06-14 10:19:12 UTC

I go on trucker general a lot and some of the shit I've read man whew lad

2017-06-14 10:21:05 UTC

My dad has been a trucker for decades, every break failure or corrupt employer he has experienced

2017-06-14 10:22:46 UTC

employers who shoot at cops. employers who try to hide contraband in your loads

2017-06-14 10:37:35 UTC

I know man I've read the green text stories, it's honestly fucking nuts how much shit actually happens

2017-06-16 11:38:16 UTC

Haven't seen them yet I've been patrolling over there though

2017-06-16 11:38:18 UTC

2017-06-16 11:38:23 UTC

more like stalking

2017-06-17 07:19:31 UTC

LOL WTF is that shift pattern

2017-06-17 07:19:55 UTC

2017-06-17 20:31:40 UTC

2017-06-17 20:32:12 UTC

my buddy has a pretty beaten up (but running) 88' 350z (the one with the v6 and sequental turbos)

2017-06-17 20:32:17 UTC

and he wants $3500 for it

2017-06-17 20:32:20 UTC

should I buy it?

2017-06-17 20:32:22 UTC

156k miles

2017-06-17 20:56:33 UTC

I don't know much about the Z31 300zx, but the Z32's which came after them were notoriously hard to work on due to engine bay packaging.

2017-06-17 22:28:51 UTC

hey guys, any good alternatives to a Volkswagen Caddy ? Looking for a van with no windows in the back that I have enough space in for a sleeping bag and some very small built in cabinets

2017-06-17 22:28:57 UTC

I don't wanna go too big

2017-06-19 00:09:28 UTC

2017-06-19 10:40:49 UTC

@Old Man Wesson If you are going to sleep in there more than once, actually lie down in the back to make sure there aren't any weird protrusions
