Coronavirus caused the DOW to drop little over 1000 points.
Hardly a "crash"
It looks like a blip on the scale, while the 2008 event looks like a dive.
Yeah
You literally can't blame trump for this
I’m not blaming him for anything but eating my ass
He’s very persistent
Dow futures turned from positive to negative during Trump’s coronavirus news conference
Obviously yes, it’s trump’s fault
If he had been prepared this could have been staved off
DOW futures turned negative because the CDC confirmed community spreading.
Trumpers have been giving him credit for Obama’s economy for 3 years, Trump owns this crash 100%
Hahahha right.
That had already happened
It happened after DOW futures were positive.
It happened during his news conference
Yeah-no.
Yep, then his news conference made them tank
No, there's nothing on that.
Because he showed his incompetence in dealing with it
All the stock market news stations say it's because of the community spreading.
Trump doesn't own Covid-19, hence this correction is not really his fault.

> The Dow Is Down 357 Points as Coronavirus Cases Keep Growing
But keep your wildly partisan pro trump stance as he bungles the response
Is it a correction or is it covid?
Those are different things buddy
A correction caused by covid.
That’s not how that works.
People are selling because of the virus, not because of a press conference that was positive in nature lmao
Futures were positive before the conference, negative after
That means the conference failed to assuage fears, despite that being the purpose.
Because people do not have confidence in trump’s ability to prevent the spread.
Or maybe, it's because cases keep growing.
As Barrons said
Because he’s extraordinarily incompetent and everyone knows.
No new cases were announced in the press conference.
Use your brain sweetie.
I'm not believing your statement, since normally you're factually incorrect.
I'm also more likely to believe Barrons.
@NewRogernomics The departments of education and health are two entirely separate entities while the CDC and NIH are agencies within one epartment, the HHS, so I don't think these two scenerios are exactly equivalent. That being said, I did miss where you clarified recent vs past cuts, so my apologies. Trump wanting to fund the CDC more *now* is a step in the right direction but he shouldn't have put himself in this position in the first place, since health services and organizations in general should be funded more especially in case a situation like this comes up. Because this virus is definitely not being over hyped, we still have the same incorrect death rate of 2-5% being thrown around, and we still have erroneous comparisons with the flu being peddled to make it seem that this is just like a flu epidemic while it's tearing ass through the rest of the world (which Trump himself did in the latest press conference).
