there was this one restaurant that served food using these things that people can just walk up to and pick what they want or whatever and it actually has people in the back making the food but he claimed that many jobs were actually being lost through that

they cut down on front-of-shop service staff

and the trucker thing is a HUGE scary problem

a lot of times he assumes that nobody will be needed for these things anymore, when you still have to have people there making sure everything's going okay and doing things the robot will never be able to do

so when all the trucks are automated, what will the ~4m cdl drivers do?
