After looking at the Syria situation in depth I actually think it was a good move considering

I like that it reinforces Trumps "red line" as actually meaningful while Obama had the reputation of making empty threats

But we're escalating tensions with Syria and Russia that don't make a single American safer. The sooner we can exit the Middle East the better. I don't want more never-ending nation building like we had in the GWB era
