how it works is, people vote for their political party then those parties win "seats", you need a certain amount of seats in order to get into power, if the amount of seats for left wing and right wing parties is about the same, one party can form a coalition with another party in order to get the majority, with the vote that happened a couple of years ago, labour (left wing) basically won the popular vote (if I'm remembering correctly) but it was very close with the tories (right wing), however in Northern Ireland, the DUP (very religious right wing party) managed to get just enough votes to let the tories win if they formed a coalition, and the DUP demanded £1 billion in order to form that coalition so the tories can remain in power, and of course they did pay it which is why May is still prime minister

Anybody here have any idea why (particularly Americans) deny farm murders? I see it alot on social media.. someone posts something about South Africa and there is always one ass who says its fake.. all fake..conspiracy theories

@Rox I think it has to do with the SA guy's kept playing the genocide card and it has been disproven countless times. So any mention of farm murders and its seen as a white genocide conspiracy

as for statement "seeing is believing." if it implies gore, then not a good idea to share that. that is something better left discovered, than trying to force it on people, it inevitably desensitises people to that gore, and like so many just stop feeling disgusted by it accepting it as a norm... sadly violence is something that we are already desensitized to

@Rox It's because the people who always spoke about farm murders are considered "alt-right". Whenever they spoke about it, the end goal was always to promote their beliefs, this obviously left a stain on the actual issue so now americans just reject it based on the agenda of the people who shared it in the first place instead of actually looking into the issue
