You don't have to try to trample on someone in order to to get above them. If your message is on point, those who hear you will listen. If your voice is a genuine one, then those who hear will believe. You do not have to go about it in a stabbing fashion and try to discredit someone who is strongly against murder - MURDER OF EVERY HUMAN, simply because they ask "Why do you only care about one race?" You don't have to try to attack one branch of the fight just so you can try to prove your fight is more important. Yes. You start with the issues closest to you. To me, that's Renaldo and the fact that you used a cutting from his video from October 2017 and merged it with footage taken over the course of the last few months and and cry "Look this guy is against us and our cause" is the problem. If you want to try to convince me that your video was not an effort to try to discredit Renaldo's voice so your's seems louder and more accurate, then you are failing.

You are getting warmer, look how far we've come. Hasn't Renaldo expressed that some of his views/opinions have changed in the past few months? Do you see me attacking you or even being slightly impolite? In fact I respect anyone who stands with his/her significant other, this is the root of the argument I posited. Think about that.
I don't know about you but, "all murder is bad" is the inherent, default and obvious stance of everyone I know and that obviously includes myself.
I could ask you to explain some of your statement but I know that would not be productive. Thank you for a civil interaction, I wish these were the conversations being fed in comments right now.

It shouldn't matter if he wore Black on Black Monday or not. Stick to your script and BoerTestimony will grow. Steer off course as you did in your clip and it becomes propaganda.

@Laurynne Gouws Farce you say? Just strange that if you look at international outlets that reported on it and the events that followed all refer back to BlackMonday. The protests in Australia, Poland and many other countries are direct copies and obviously influenced by the events that took place in SA. It is repressed but you can find people marching with the words STOP PLAASMOORDE all around the world. Just because you haven't seen a thing does not mean it doesn't exist.
You ascribe all sorts of motivations yet he said what he said and I'm happy for him to state his opinion, he was wrong and that's fine. So let me spell it out:
WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE MANNER AND NUMBERS IN WHICH FARMERS ARE BEING MURDERED, SOME SAID THAT PROTESTING WOULD AMOUNT TO NOTHING BUT... THEY WERE WRONG.
Renaldo has on occasion expressed that he will be "on the first flight out" once certain things happen, we don't all have that privilege and excuse me if I and others refuse to go gentle into that good night.
Oh, @Renaldo Dutton was asked and he explicitly said that he was concerned about the amount of farmers being murdered, Trump's tweet instructed Pompeo to look into land seizures AND large scale killings of farmers...

@Billy Chiltong Let me just say this before you retreat. I am a part of the core demographic you guys are trying to target. Someone who has the time to share and spread awareness. Someone who leans towards your cause more than, let's say Renaldo does. But honestly, your video gave me a sour taste because you didn't create a powerful video that speaks truth. You created a video that is part truth coupled with manipulation and footage to misguide people into believing in what you want your message to say. Whether I can afford to leave the country or not is moot. Not all my family members can. They will be left behind if we decided to leave. We are not selfish. We care. We speak up and we actively work to spread awareness. Your video dispels the fight Renaldo is standing up for. And whether you agree or not is for your conscious.

Only thing sour about that video was the targeting of Renaldo strictly.. Would have been more epic if it included more prominent nay sayers, because Renaldo wasn't the only one that opposed it. That's my critique.

@Sheamus - We shouldn't be targeting people who inevitably fight for the same cause, maybe just under a different banner. We should be putting out clips of those who strongly call for and disagree farmers are being killed. Using anyone who maybe, might, maybe not agree with you every time is a waste of time. We should be using those who are evil and have evil agendas. My only issue with that video remains that it was done in a way that without a shadow of a doubt leads me to believe that Renaldo was the evil and the rest are the hero's.

@Laurynne Gouws yes i can agree it looks like a smear campaign, it displays an unhealthy obsession with Renaldo, much like i see the lefts unhealthy obsession with Trump. If the video included a few other sources of nay sayers, it would have been alot more objective and inspirational to prove that shaming tactics shouldn't stop us from succeeding.

@Laurynne Gouws I'd say that saying goodbye is a, in fact, a tactic... to end a conversation because of loss of interest or(*) other pressing matters. I'd also say that responding to a greeting by referring to it as a "retreat" is also a tactic, just not a nice one. The neurolinguistic implications are obvious, saw it coming though. On changing the subject you lost me, never even thought of changing the subject. But really, nothing more to be said about this and anything more would not be constructive.
