download/hack up the bot, go make my own archiver

that's the problem you'd be better off manually downloading the images by hand

using a selfbot to download the images is also against the TOS and may result in account termination

and again I have the bot already archiving stuff but I am not allowed to share it

because if someone chose to delete their message I would also have to delete that message from the archive

it's a great platform for many things but these are the rules we all agreed to when we joined

there really isn't a better or easier platform to work with at the moment

and most if not all platforms abide by the same rules

matrix/riot, where you're only beholden to the rules of the server owner

at that rate you might as well setup an IRC

regardless, this is all far too restrictive, and makes it damned difficult to work with

I mean just don't break the rules and you're fine there's nothing here that is against the rules and if it is I'll be deleting it as necessary or providing the correct approach to ensuring it's safe. The restrictions are on bot developers for getting permission so I'd need permission from over 900 people here to upload their images somewhere else 😂 but there's no problem with you as an individual to repost it elsewhere

you can but you risk getting your account terminated and losing all access to discord entirely

it's dumb but that's how discord has had to approach the selfbot problem of people spamming invites and other bad things on discord
