the people who will be the most affected by gun control will be law abiding citizens. and not just any law abiding citizen, the law abiding citizens have stats behind them proving to be the MOST law abiding. the least likely to do any kind of crime.
even if we do that, I wonder how it is people expect things to improve
i'd say a bigger problem with guns in america is the culture of gun ignorance.
it leads to adults being afraid of them and kids not understanding them
kids think they are toys, parents pretend they don't exist
no I mean even if we just all unanimously decided, ok, fuck it, guns are the problem, get rid of them
do they think tomorrow morning is better..?
like ok there's no more school shootings, now you just made people work harder on making a good enough bomb or focus on killing the mother fuckers they actually do want dead
"I kill u and den I die" is still a valid game without a gun
you know, murder is a problem. lets make it illegal
Death is also a huge problem lets make that illegal too!
A Slippery Slope is not always a fallacy! If a proposed policy has limits based on principal it is not a fallacy, if the limits are arbitrary it is. The difference is that you can not use the same argument to expand a policy that is based on principal without changing the argument in some way. In case of gun laws: „ban all guns, they have no use other than killing“ is a principled argument that leads to a policy that can not be expanded without changing the argument. „Ban guns that are unnecessary deadly“ is not based on principal but on arbitrary characteristics of guns and can be reused again and again with other characteristics.
Problem is that principled arguments are often the „end stage“ of the slippery slope of the unprincipled ones.
its ironic that about 2 years ago i was arguing with a guy from the uk why their knife crack downs were bad, and he mostly agreed with me that they were bad but only because they were coming from the conservitive party. but when i brought up that basicly at the time you could buy a hatchet from a hardware store, and i literally looked up a uk based hardware store, looked at its stock, and found one being sold, i then argued thats a more effective killing tool than many of the weapons being targeted at the time specificly because at the time the main things being targeted were those dumb "zombie" knife things that are actually kinda shit weapons that mostly look scary. the hatchet also cost less and was more concealible than most of the knives. guy couldent wrap his brain around that one. i guess now you even need a loisence for the hatchet
This made me lol
Plenty of action against knife attacks.
Anything on the rampant acid attacks? :V
I remember back when this game was in development I actually wanted to play it. Then it attracted the most autistic, degenerate fanbase in history.
Undertards make sonic fans seem well adjusted.
Steven Universe is still the worst fandom to date
Yeah, I don't think any other fanbase has a killcount above 0.
best fanbase is clorox
Ew, no. Everyone knows Bleach was trash
No offense @Timcast
