i wasn't talking about females, i was talking about men. Specifically the levels of each hormone in the body. I'm assuming you know that both males and females have certain amounts of each in their bodies. I also assume that sex change doctors know more than me about what can make a male more feminine but perhaps my understanding of how much estrogen or what it does is a bit flawed. I figured they used it to bring out feminine features and characteristics in the body, then used suppressors or removed the testes to lower the level of testosterone to hinder or diminish more masculine features, such as chest hair or facial hair.

Sorry, perhaps misspoke. First off, i'm not talking about "chemical castration". Just castration as it refers to testosterone, which is a hormone, which are a chemical substance in our body. Not chemical in the terms of "things not to ingest because they are bad for you" (*cough* tide pod idiots *cough*). So chemical in the bio/chemistry sense, not warning label sense, if that makes ...sense (i need better wording). Now, this relates to my understanding of the original comment "So there's a chemical means of political control?". This is based off a picture posted somewhere above that more masculine men where on the right, and more feminine men where on the left. So, i read "chemical means" as by removing the testes to decrease testosterone and/or increasing the estrogen levels using supplements. Which is chemical so far in as hormones are chemicals (this is still based of if my understanding of bio is correct. i seem to recall them being refereed to as chemical messengers/chemical substances at some point but maybe i'm wrong in that technicality). Also, i may have found my comment that added to the confusion: "damages the production of testosterone, which is chemical" that should read "which is **a** chemical", my bad.

At any rate, i was only trying to help clear up what to me seemed like a misunderstanding of what was meant by the term "chemical means".

Making them less prone to alpha-male behaviour

Think of it like a color scheme, If you have 255 Red, 10 Yellowand 0 Blue, your color will jsut be bright red, if you lower the red to say 25, you suddenly get an Orange-ish color

Thats why men with lower testosterone are just less typical alpha behaviour
